Why do you attend the APUL Academy?
"I come here because there’s a great group of people and there’s so much to learn. I like the relaxed pace, the friendly atmosphere, and I really love the variety. I can choose my own workshops based on what I want to work on and where I feel there’s room for improvement. I like that I get feedback on my skiing, and that keeps pushing me forward."
Which workshop did you like?
"Haha, I have to say that’s video analysis, even though I don’t always like watching myself on video. But I guess everyone feels that way, judging by how we were all talking about it with the others. I really liked the “Cool and Steep” workshop because a black run reveals a lot, and it’s great to try out different techniques on it. Synchro skiing, on the other hand, gave me new ideas for teaching. Overall, there’s so much interesting stuff here, and I always choose whatever I feel like doing and whatever I’m enjoying at the moment."
Why do you ski with Apul?
"For me, it’s a brand I associate with quality. I trust APUL; I’ve had experience with them for quite some time. I know I’ll get a good analysis here, which is very important to me. I know I need it, and when I come to Sölden, I’ll have it there, too. And overall, I’m also satisfied with the organizational arrangements."
