Why did you decide to take a course at APUL?
"I enrolled in the APUL C course because I wanted to expand my knowledge in the field of ski instruction. Everything I learned in the course I was then able to use for my thesis at Masaryk University, which focuses on ski instruction. I would like to thank all the APUL instructors for their valuable advice and personal experiences. In a word, the course was "eye-opening."
Did the course meet your expectations?
"I am a former competitive skier. Until the day I started the course, I only knew one way of skiing. I would describe it as "mammoth hunting" in every turn. I was taught to race. If you don't let go on the hill and have to pick up your soul with a shovel after the run, it's not a proper ride. Efficiency, grace, elegance... these are the concepts I'm taking away from the course and will continue to focus on in my skiing. After seeing the APUL instructors ski, I understood what these concepts mean. Thank you for showing me that skiing has many forms and many styles."
Will you continue your education at APUL?
"Absolutely! I became completely addicted to APUL courses. These people really know what they're talking about. Anyone who thinks they've reached their skiing peak should attend APUL courses. I bet you won't find this kind of approach, openness to discussion, and friendly atmosphere anywhere else today."
